Charlie’s Car Care is one of the best small, family-owned shops around. Every time I come in, they get me taken care of quickly and always go the extra mile to do the job right. The team is friendly, efficient, and genuinely cares about their customers. I’ve been coming here for any vehicle issues because I know I can trust them to get me in and out fast. I took my Chevy here for an oil change and was helped by an older gentleman and I assume his wife I paid $130 for a full synthetic oil change and while I felt it was expensive the over all experience was good so I came back a few months later when it was time for another oil change. This second time around the older couple were not there and I was helped by a different guy. He tried upselling me on a bunch of repairs he claimed where ABSOLUTELY necessary or my Chevy was going to basically fall apart, I’m now stressed at the big repair bill he claims I need. I asked for a second opinion and I’m told the Chevy is perfectly fine and there’s nothing to worry about. It’s clear the guy working at Charlie’s only wanted to make sales/commission. The funny thing is that I came to find out biggers Chevy just up the street has a sale on oil changes regular for around $65 and full synthetic for $90 remember I paid $130 at Charlie’s so they ended up doing me a favor

I dropped my car off to get my valve cover head gasket replaced and new spark plugs. Price was reasonable and my car feels brand new!! I definitely will be coming back here again because I trust their service!!

Purchased a vehicle from their dealership, found them amicable and helpful. Left feeling great, as I was able to get a great price and they were very friendly. 4 months later my car stops accelerating on the highway. Hundreds of dollars and multiple mechanic visits later reveals that my transmission is completely shot. Replacement of a new transmission being thousands of dollars more than what I spent on the car. I’m told by three different mechanics that the transmission fluid is bad and the transmission has a terminal condition and unless replaced the problem will persist. The car I bought supposedly had a clean bill of health and had just had its fluid flushed. It makes me wonder how 1500 miles later it’s a goner. The suspicion of the mechanics who ran diagnostic on my car, is that the service team at Charlie Car Care had performed a temporary fix on a transmission they knew was shot, and had replaced the solenoids and transmission fluid to give some artificial life to the car knowing full well it was only a matter of time before the vehicle died. I did a rear disc brake conversion on my car and experienced poor stopping. I have had it in multiple shops who were either unwilling to work on the car (restored Pontiac GTO) or unable to get the brakes working satisfactorily. Charlies’ was able to identify a combination of bad and incorrect parts in the installed kit. They did a great job of trouble shooting and the car now stops on a dime. Great shop and nice people to deal with. Update: Just brought my Nissan Maxima in for brakes, oil change and trans fluid change (CVT). All is perfect! These guys are just the best in town. That are attentive, take pride in their work and very courteous.
